Winter to Spring, a Pink and Blue Composition

Winter to Spring translates a change of season into a change of colour, energy and mood. Painted in London in March 2023, the acrylic composition was created as winter began to give way to spring, with contrasting pink and blue passages layered across the canvas using different applications of paint. For Weinberger, the seasonal shift also carried a personal resonance, reflecting a period of increasing stability and happiness. The painting captures that threshold beautifully: the sense that one state has not quite disappeared before another begins to emerge.
