Moonshields draws on the circular geometry and quiet luminosity associated with the moon. Created with oil on linen canvas, rounded forms establish a measured rhythm across the composition, while subtle tonal contrasts give them a sense of depth. The work balances celestial reference with abstraction, allowing repetition, shape and negative space to create its distinctive visual language.
